The Nutrition Center of Drexel University

Drexel University partners with the School District of Philadelphia in the provision of nutrition education to elementary, middle and high schools.  Drexel is now in its sixth year of conducting successful after school girls' clubs in several middle schools.  Since it services the majority of high schools in the District, it has developed an extensive library of lessons geared towards this age group.  Another unique aspect is the tailoring of lessons for the variety of special needs classes and additional extension lessons for teachers to reinforce life skills.
