Fiscal Management
Pennsylvania Nutrtion Education Tracks is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) with 
matching cost share funds from state and other non-federal support. TRACKS is administered through the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and is managed by the Pennsylvania State University (PSU) College of Health and Human Development.
Tracks is a cost share/reimbursement program that uses state and local public funds as cost share to draw Federal support from USDA. Tracks reimburses up to 50% of a project’s allowable expenditures. Cost share resources secured by projects plus USDA reimbursement cover the total costs of the project’s approved FSNE programming, including administrative costs.
Tracks partners submit an invoice listing both the cost share contributed and the reimbursable expenses incurred for FSNE programming to the management office at PSU. The fiscal team at PSU is responsible for reviewing this documentation and securing reimbursement to partner agencies through Pennsylvania DPW.
