“Families Understanding Nutrition (FUN)”
FUN is an initiative of A Better Start, the preventative health education component of Women and Children's Service Line of the AEHN targeting SNAP Eligible families with children. AEHN has a strong preschool program, reaching children and caregivers at eligible preschools in Philadelphia and Montgomery County. Through Eat.Right.Now., they provide nutrition programming in 32 Philadelphia schools, and they also provide nutrition education at local senior centers. An interesting part of their program is delivering SNAP-Ed to caregivers at local grocery stores.
